Sorry for this but i want to make this change. Reading through everything you have gone through and continue to go through, I am determined to help make a change in how domestic violence and abuse are perceived. I am a 16 year old girl studying at the moment, for my studies I have to do a project, I came up with the idea of "does domestic abuse affect children as they grow older?". I wanted to do this to make people realise that there are women and other people out there still suffering - it is not just something that one can brush off and ignore and pretend it never happened, that is clear from all the stories and content on this site. After hearing your story I am determined I will help get the word across! |
