Your story has really touched me and it made me better understand the way my mom felt while she was in her abusive relationship. It is only after reading your story I could feel her pain. Please stay strong, you are a brave, strong woman, but no love is worth losing your sanity over. In fact, that is not love at all. The man you fell in love with was a mere mirage, a character he uses to escape his true self and if he really loved you he would realize what he has been doing to you and let you go for the sake of your mental stability and happiness. Don't repeat the same mistakes as my mother and so many other domestic violence victims do - put your own safety first. Even if it does not feel like it at the moment, it WILL all work out eventually. Have faith in your journey. With love xxx |
