Help from Above

For me, I felt I had help from above.

I called upon the Lord. I felt like I had made a mess of things and felt like I just needed to rely on God's mercy and guidance as much as possible.

It was great to get into a Sunday School class and talk about the Lord again because my ex-husband was unsaved and alcohol was involved.

I stay strong by staying in close contact with Jesus my Savior. I read God's Word and pray to Him. He made me after all, and Jesus gave His life for me. Who better to follow to help me make my decisions?

God brought me through all of the pain I felt. It has been over 5 years and the abuse still haunts me. It took me over 3 years to try a relationship and it did not work. Now I am alone again and I am trying to move forward. The only thing I do is pray every day. God is a healer, way maker, and sustainer. God Bless.
