Give your story a voice.
by NICOLE
I talked to and told my story to whomever would listen. I had to stop being ashamed of what I had been through and understand that it was not my fault that I had did nothing wrong. I actually found more support as I spoke out. I gave others the courage to tell their story as well. I spoke at support groups, I spoke at fundraisers and charity events. I even started a blog and shared it with all my family, friends even strangers. Being able to speak out and let go of what happened to me has had an enormous effect on my healing. |
