Burning the reminders
by Ana Blanco
I had kept wedding photos and photos of us with our daughter, believing that it was good for her. That I was saving it for her. Surprise! She doesn't want these and neither do I. I took them to my garden and burned them (safely, of course). You have no idea how satisfying it was (still is) to watch these yucky reminders of supposedly "good times" go up in flames. Admin: This idea of burning stuff seems to have various uses: from burning previous photos of happier times, to writing long letter which end up being burned rather than sent. |
